L’Amour La Morgue is capable of quite a lot… making your music better, making your face meltier, generally blowing your mind… but the one thing LALM (or, Ian Watkins of Lostprophets) cannot do is be in two places at once. We’re working on it, but the science is not quite ready.

And so it is with serious, serious regret that Watkins must pull out of his scheduled appearance at the inaugural Camden Rocks Festival. “I’m gutted that I won’t be making it back for the show,” he said, “but the guys and I are putting the finishing touches on what we feel is the Lostprophets best record we’ve ever made, and I really need to be in Los Angeles to make sure every last bit is perfect.” That said, the opportunity to contribute to fundraising for the Teenage Cancer Trust should not be taken lightly, and L’Amour La Morgue headquarters urges everyone to head out and support the cause on Saturday.

Many thanks to the Trust and Kerrang! for their work and understanding in this matter, and let’s hope to reconvene and make up for it soon.

According to Kerrang (see scan here) Ian will be djing at Camden Rocks, in Camden, London, on June 6. More details on the scan.
