Ilan Rubin to leave Lostprophets
So, we’ve just had an update from the horses mouth, and regret to inform you that Ilan will be leaving Lostprophets after the album is released. Trent Reznor has announced that he will be joining Nine Inch Nails at the beginning of 2009. He will replace Josh Freese, who leaves at the end of the NIN’s current American tour.
When I spoke to Aaron Rubin yesterday, I was told he would be staying with the boys ‘for now’ which I now know to be until the albums is finished.

Ilan was amazing, I totally loved him and he did the guys a big favour tbh, I mean they would have had a bit of a struggle making an album without a drummer, don’t ya think xD
I wish him the best of luck and I’m sure that whatever he goes onto doing he will have an awesome time with.

I just hope they don’t do a Fallout Theory and have Ian singing AND on drums (I’m fairly sure he can play).

to comment 2, ilan actually does hav a double, just only uses it sometimes. ilan is talented enough to actually use one foot and still have awsum fills!!!
